Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Measurement and Assessment:

    • Conduct detailed onsite measurements and assessments to gather accurate data for design projects.

    • Document existing conditions, utilities, and structures.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations during site visits.

  • Plan Review and Changes:

    • Collaborate with the homeowners, contractors and project managers to review and analyze project plans.

    • Facilitate plan changes and revisions as needed, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.

    • Keep accurate records of plan iterations.

  • Permitting Process:

    • Manage and coordinate the permitting process for design projects.

    • Prepare and submit permit applications to relevant authorities.

    • Track permit approvals and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

  • Ongoing Construction Support:

    • Act as a liaison between the design team and construction team, addressing any design-related issues that may arise during construction.

    • Attend construction site meetings to ensure the design intent is maintained.

    • Assist in resolving any design-related challenges encountered during the construction phase.

  • Project Documentation:

    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including site assessment reports, plan revisions, and permitting records.

    • Organize and archive project files for future reference.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and project coordination.

    • Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in design coordination, project management, or a similar role.
