Sub Contractor Preparation:
Review and confirm paint colors, sheens, and quantities with homeowners or project managers.
Distribute detailed painting specifications to all subcontractors.
Schedule a pre-project meeting with subcontractors to review scope, timelines, and standards.
Ensure all subcontractors have the necessary insurance and are set up properly.
Quality Control Measures:
Provide subcontractors with a detailed checklist of preparation and painting standards.
Conduct regular inspections at various stages of the project to ensure adherence to specifications.
Coordination and Communication:
Establish clear communication channels for subcontractors to report progress and issues.
Coordinate schedules to ensure that painting activities do not interfere with other ongoing work.
Hold regular update meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and adjustments needed.
Make it clear that all communication and changes need to be processed by Vino. If any changes are made without a change order or approval, they will not be paid for this additional work.
Final Inspection and Approval:
Conduct a comprehensive final inspection with a detailed checklist for each room or area.
Ensure any deficiencies identified during the inspection are corrected promptly.
Obtain final approval from the homeowner or project manager before closing out the project.
Sub Paint Checklist
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces cleaned and dust-free.
Imperfections filled and sanded.
Primed as required.
Paint Application:
Correct paint and finish applied.
Neat edges and corners.
Uniform coverage, no drips.
Second coat for even coverage.
Trim and Detail Work:
Precision on trim and moldings.
No paint on unintended surfaces.
Clean lines between colors/finishes.
Cleanup and Final Inspection:
Remove all tape/coverings.
Clean workspace, remove debris.
Complete necessary touch-ups.
Additional Inspection Points:
Consistent color and finish.
No missed spots or areas.
All specified areas painted.
Client Walk-Through:
Client review completed.
Feedback and touch-ups noted.
